Additional information

This paper proposes a generic Quality of Experience (QoE) evaluation framework. Unlike most QoE-related research, which is of little use to other multimedia services because it is service-specific, the framework we propose is suitable for multi-service and multi-agent networks. Its efficacy has been demonstrated through voice, video and data services (i.e. VoIP, VoD, web and online gaming), over an end-to-end media-delivering chain, from content generation, through access/core network transmission, to consumer consumption. It forms the basis of the collaborative EU FP7 ADAMANTIUM project (€2.6M, contract no.:214751).
