This themed issue of Australasian Drama Studies is the first edition of an Australian academic journal to specifically address scenography and theatre design in Australia and New Zealand and offers an important point of reference and a significant catalyst for new thinking. Filmer contributed a critical essay on the work of the theatre company My Darling Patricia, co-wrote the issue’s Introduction, curated and introduced a series of responses to the most recent edition of the Prague Quadrennial and curated reviews of significant recent publications addressing scenography and theatre design.
