<06> In the EU funded project MULTINET, Wang led the design and implementation of an “always-best-connected” system. The MULTINET testbed was demonstrated in the EU headquarters to successfully conclude the project, and remains as a featured demo and working platform for further R&D. He was shortlisted for Strathclyde University Research Excellence Fund for this research. MULTINET has contributed to the definition and development of the IP Flow Mobility functionality recently standardised in the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
