Bundle and pool architecture for multi-language, robust, scalable workflow executions
<02>This paper describes a real world multi-workflow experiment to demonstrate the coarse-grained SHIWA interoperability approach, which has been adopted and implemented by 10 scientific workflow engines [http://www.shiwa-workflow.eu/]: Triana, WS-PGrade, Moteur, Askalon, Pegasus (via SPP/repo) Taverna, Kepler GWES, ProActive and Galaxy. The underlying distributed cloud messaging queue infrastructure has recently provided the basis for a startup based in Washington DC, in the area on monitoring applications and their dependencies through the modelling of the distributed dependencies using workflows [http://viavm.com].
