Theoretical modelling of cohesive particles that aggregate to form larger flocs in a range of turbulent flows. Key scales are identified to show how the size and sedimentation of such flocs can be modelled as they vary in response to the turbulent flow. Allows modelling of a range of environmental and industrial flows.
