Additional information

This work was commissioned by Dr M. Taylor of ESR (ESR are the major provider of forensic science support to NZ Police). This work paved the way towards the use of apparel damage as forensic evidence in blunt force impact events. Further, the effect of laundering after impact was investigated to determine whether such evidence could still be detected. This work is of interest with respect to historical crime; such evidence had not previously been considered. Contact: michael.taylor@esr.cri.nz
