Additional information

This research developed new models that describe how to successfully integrate gas power plant and post combustion CO2 capture. The outputs have been adopted in a multi-university project (EP/J020184, £581k) with partners E-ON, on CO2 capture from gas power plants, which are currently the most challenging case (Robin.Irons@eon-engineering.com). Models developed are being used and reconfigured to explore different CO2 capture options including solvent selection, operation performance optimisation and techno economic evaluation of CO2 capture.
