Additional information

Collaboration between NPL and Cranfield, funded by EPSRC GR/R68139/01 and NPL. Dimensional characterisation is the most critical aspect of apparatus design so that the contribution to measurement uncertainty is minimised. The kelvin and Boltzmann constant will be redefined based on these measurement results, which have improved Boltzmann measurement uncertainty by an order of magnitude.
