Additional information

This paper is possibly the only example of direct comparison of relative efficacies of the various membrane cleaning methods on a full-scale membrane bioreactor (MBR) module challenged with real municipal wastewater. The work was pivotal in informing the strategic decision of the company to withdraw from MBR process development and focus on the core activity of membrane module provision as a commodity (Contact: Peter Aerts paerts@dow.com).
