Additional information

An outcome of the BBSRC/BERR/EA BIOREM_35 Link project: PROMISE (Grant BB/B512432/1). The work addressed key requirements for contaminated land risk assessment, and was pivotal for the Environmental Scientifics Group, formerly TES Bretby (contact: Graeme Risdon, MD: graemerisdon@eurofins.co.uk). TES Bretby have focussed specifically on enabling the technique to have a high throughput and a commercial edge (4-fold faster than conventional methods and over £200k savings on hydrocarbon analysis per year). The analytical methodology was applied during site remediation for the London 2012 Olympic games (contact G Risdon as above).
