Additional information

This paper presents an approach to proactive safety applicable to an aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul organisation (MRO). It introduces the Aviation Maintenance Monitoring Process (AMMP), enabling industry to monitor the existence of human error causal factors which can, as a result, be gradually eliminated. The process has been validated within industry and a commercialised product is under development for use by airlines and maintainers. (contact Tony Garforth, tony.garforth@easyjet.com)
