Additional information

This paper is the first study to look at the effect of moisture on SO2 and NOx in an oxyfuel CFB pilot plant, and showed that H2O has a strong effect on both in an oxyfuel environment, and on sulfation in an air environment. The results have been used by the University of British Columbia (Professor John Grace, jgrace@chbe.ubc.ca), the University of Stuttgart (Professor Guenter Scheffknecht, guenter.scheffknecht@ifk.uni-stuttgart.de) and Imperial College (Dr. Paul Fennell, p.fennell@imperial.ac.uk).
