Additional information

This new model of inelastic wrinkled membranes is enabling industry to design supersonic parachutes and inflatable tension cone decelerators. It is being used in Cambridge and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (Prof Carlos Pantano, ID_in_audit_file@uiuc.edu) in projects funded by JPL/NASA (ID_in_audit_file@jpl.nasa.gov, ID_in_audit_file@nasa.gov) and Vorticity Ltd (ID_in_audit_file@vorticity-systems.com).
