Additional information

The work advances characterisation and modeling of electromagnetic interactions. In collaboration with the universities of Nottingham and Swansea, and funded by EPSRC/BAE Systems (GR/S71552/1), methods are developed to improve the modeling process, the characterisation of materials and their representation in numerical models. The work formed a foundation of the FP7 funded, industry led, HIRF-SE project (ICT 205294). Industrial partners include Alenia (lead partner: marco.bozzetti@alenia.i), Augusta Westland, BAE Systems, Eurocopter, EADS, and Thales.
