The author made a substantial contribution to carrying out the study by providing the samples of European wolves that were essential for this project and participation in all stages of the labwork from the DNA extraction to the preparation of samples to be hybridised on SNP microarrays. The author also participated in the initial stages of data analysis. The author participated in the reviewing process of the initial draft of the paper, which (as the collective feedback) led to a substantial revision of the initial version.
