The output reports results from the CREDO II project (EP/C548590/1) and contributed to the award of £1.8M EPSRC grant DURACOMP (EP/K026925/1, May 2013 to April 2016) to investigate and predict the probable durability of composites for civil engineering applications for a 50 year life-span based on UKCIP09 forecasts. Associate Prof. Xu wen An from Wuhan University (contact: anxw@whu.edu.cn, +86137020118595) has been awarded a China Scholarship Council grant (reference 201206275043) to remain in Newcastle for 12 months from September 2013 to contribute to the development of this research.
