Almaini initiated and supervised this project, and co-wrote the paper with Lani (his PhD student). Almaini is overall leader and Principal Investigator of the Ultra Deep Survey (UDS) project, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Hubble Space Telescope CANDELS consortium. The paper combines CANDELS and UDS data to explore the influence of environment on the growth of high-redshift galaxies.
