Jungwirth developed the theoretical model, which explains the effect described in this paper, and carried out detailed analysis of the experimental data. Jungwirth and Nemec took the lead in writing the paper. Jungwirth was principal investigator on grants funding the work, which was performed as part of an ongoing collaboration between the Nottingham spintronics group and the Prague group.
