Double-weighted statement

This is a book of 411 pages of main text, with a bibliography of 34 pages. Rutherford began work on it in 1987 and completed it in 2011. No part has been previously published. It aims at a global view of the stylistics of Greek tragedy as a whole, treating at various points over 30 surviving dramas, and taking into account the many fragments of lost works which extend our knowledge of the range and development of the genre.
