Additional information

This paper was ranked within the Top 25 Hottest Articles in Chemical Engineering Science from April to June 2009 (http://top25.sciencedirect.com/subject/chemical-engineering/5/journal/chemical-engineering-science/00092509/archive/22/). This work is relevant to the use of MOFs in the industrially important issue of separating alkenes and alkanes. It led to an invited lecture on this topic at the 3rd Portuguese Young Chemists Meeting in Porto, Portugal (3pychem@spq.pt), and to an invitation by the editor of Molecular Simulation (Jerome Delhommelle - jdelhommelle@chem.und.edu) to write a review article on modelling adsorption in MOFs with open metal sites (article in press, DOI: 10.1080/08927022.2013.829228).
