Additional information

Following the research of output 2 we used a systematic approach to control nanostructuring through different annealing strategies. This work elucidates the controlling factors in nanostructuring and its impact on exciton generation rates (photovoltaics). Power conversion efficiency, for the material blends in question is 5%, and bimolecular recombination is shown to be the major process responsible for its reduction. We investigated the effects of annealing on trap density; we proposed that trap-assisted recombination could be a dominant process in comparison to bimolecular recombination. Both processes can be an influential factor in lowering power conversion efficiency.
