Visionen des Politischen
As co-editor of this volume, I was responsible for the conception of the project (introducing Quentin Skinner's work to a German audience), the selection of essays, proof-reading and (substantially) correcting half of the translations (the introduction, the essays on Hobbes, Lorenzetti, and "Sprechakte"), and providing an overview of Skinner's contributions to the theory and practice of intellectual history which now features as the "Nachwort". As co-author of the "Nachwort", I am responsible for 22 of its 33 pages (pp. 253-275). The two thirds of the essay that I wrote give an outline of Skinner's methodology, its transformations over time, its impact on the development of the history of ideas, and its problems/ internal contradictions.
