Additional information

A subject-specific three-dimensional finite element pelvic bone model has been developed and validated using a human cadaver model, in collaboration with Beijing Huatou Biomedical Laboratory, China. This is one of the few pelvic models ever published (together with Anderson et al, 2005 and Dalstra, 1996), perhaps the most detailed and up-to-date one for orthopedic research purposes. We have offered free access to the model to the orthopedic research community.
