<07> To the best of our knowledge, the work presented in this paper signifies the first attempt in the related research communities to provide a comprehensive and state-of-the-art review on Grid security technologies, and projects that integrate Shibboleth technology into Grids. The paper presents insightful analysis on the role of Shibboleth technology in Grid environments and how it has impacted the evolution of Grid authentication and authorization technologies.
The work presented in this paper has been widely cited as an indication of the impact on the work various Grid security related projects internationally.
