Additional information

<17> A rapidly growing amount of Linked (Open) Data (LOD) is available online. In this paper we describe an approach to making experience data available from LOD as knowledge to be used in case-based reasoning (CBR) systems. We present an enhanced version of our prototype, the Knowledge Extraction Workbench (KEWo), which supports the process of extracting such knowledge from data obtained from LOD sources. We provide details on the new abilities of the KEWo to extract vocabularies from LOD sources and generate taxonomies from LOD as an enhancement of the KEWo’s initial ability to extract such knowledge from web community data.
