Additional information

<17> Web communities and the Web 2.0 provide a huge amount of experiences. Making these available as knowledge to be used in case-based reasoning systems is a current research effort. Extracting such knowledge from the diverse data types used in web communities and formalising it for CBR is not trivial. In this paper we present the knowledge extraction workbench prototype KEWo. The KEWo automatically extracts Vocabulary items and taxonomies of these to be used as similarity measures in CBR systems from web forum posts in natural language. This paper won the best refereed application paper award at the SG AI-2011.
