Significance of output:

This paper describes the worldwide first closed loop MEMS gyroscope using bandpass sigma-delta modulators. The work was conducted in collaboration with SensoNor, Norway, and led to a highly successful commercial gyroscope (http://www.sensonor.com/gyro-products/gyro-sensors.aspx; terje.kvisteroey@sensonor.no). This paper led to several invited talks, for example, Keynote Lecture, 1st Annual World Congress of Nano-Science&Technology, Dalian, China, 2011 and IEEE IFCS conference, Baltimore, US, May 2012.
