Significance of output:

This paper describes a novel and effective chip- integrated design that exhibits strong trapped resonance with potential applications in bio-sensing in aqueous environments. The benefits of the design include improved sensitivity without the need for labelling, reduced analyte volume and flexibility, as the direct interaction with the free space THz signal simplifies system integration.
