Significance of output:

A significant experimental leap forward in our understanding of the crystallization of next generation memory materials, results of collaboration with Cambridge University and an industrial partner Mettler-Toledo, a global provider of precision instruments. The work has drawn commentary from leaders in the field, Professor Matthias Wuttig of RWTH Aachen University, who writes, “[this work] now provides a completely new insight in our understanding of the transformations that occur in today's memory devices. Results support a Programme Grant (~£7.5 M FEC) proposal with Exeter and Cambridge Universities. Follow up publication in APL (doi: 10.1063/1.4748881).
