<13>Images subjected to blur and significant outliers occur in many applications. This calls for robust models for image recovery, which are however nonsmooth and numerically very challenging. In this work, we develop an efficient and easy-to-implement numerical method for one such model with provable convergence. Extensive experiments clearly show its efficiency. The public companion software has been employed by several other research groups for their domain specific problems, including Andrea Borsic at Dartmouth College and Laurent Demaret at Helmholtz Zentrum Munch.
