Double-weighted statement

This output should be double weighted because it required the collection and analysis of a considerable body of material, namely over three hundred films covering the course of the twentieth century but primarily concentrated in the period 1900-2010. Abrams watched over three hundred films, combined with extensive secondary literature, both theoretical and empirical, as well as contemporary reviews and other accounts. This necessitated an eight-year period of data collection to generate the empirical evidence, critical insights and argument.
