<30>This paper uses integrated soft computing techniques to solve maritime container transportation problems, and it is published in the top journal in the field of soft computing and computational intelligence. The software presented in the paper is a working system and tested in realistic settings. The technique presented in this paper was developed under the support of the Business Optimization team at IBM China Research Laboratory, and it focused on meeting requirements proposed by an international high profile shipping company (COSCO), which is very likely to have high impact.
