Development of Object and Grasping Knowledge by Robot Exploration
<24>This cognitive vision system brings together a number of components developed independently, but now combined to form a complete developing system (i.e. how developing object and grasping knowledge in tandem). This paper began an ongoing collaboration between Guerin and the group in SDU, Odense, with Guerin bringing the developmental psychology perspective and SDU providing robotics know-how. This collaboration has led to Guerin being invited to influence the FP7 Xperience project (invited talk in IIIT Genoa, 2011, and currently jointly supervised student), and to co-organise Dagstuhl Seminar 13072, workshop http://kovan.ceng.metu.edu.tr/~sinan/DHV/ and co-author the survey/roadmap paper doi:10.1109/TAMD.2012.2209879.
