Additional information

<33> Originality:

This provided a new approach to analysing the properties of novel computational substrates, to determine which boolean logic operations they can perform naturally, and which physical parameters give access to these computations.

Significance:

This is one of the few analytical design approaches available to unconventional computational substrate engineers.

Rigour:

The work exploits the full rigour of the underlying quantum mechanical theory of NMR.
