Additional information

<26>This was the first work to develop mesh processing algorithms that operate in a groupwise manner, i.e. the outputs are optimal with respect to a set of meshes rather than a single mesh. We present the first groupwise extensions of mesh sampling, simplification, flattening and texture mapping algorithms and demonstrate their application to processing motion capture data and modelling populations. We provide comparison to state-of-the-art flattening and simplification methods. An application of the simplification algorithm to deformable meshes was presented in a companion paper presented at ICCV 2011 (acceptance rate 24%)
