Additional information

<04> This paper presents a novel throughput maximization technique for a multi-hop cognitive radio network with delay-sensitive applications, e.g., video gaming. The novelty lies in taking the interference-power level on the primary user network into consideration and providing a simple-to-use cross-layer (MAC and physical layer) transmission power allocation strategy for the secondary user network. Derives unique guidelines for system design and relay selection techniques for different target delay-outage probability. Presented in IEEE TWC, a leading a high-impact journal (IF 2.586), and receiving citation at an increasing rate since its publication in 2010.
