Additional information
The purpose here was to examine whether laser based mixing could be exploited in a microfluidics environment. The results have ramifications for downstream microfluidics protocols, but also for in vivo medical applications with 'cocktail' drug regimens that are deliverable in a targeted fashion. My contribution was to advise my student (Rolfsnes) on design of experiments ahead of interacting with our French collaborators, and also on the computational analysis of the results, including the image processing aspects.
