Additional information

This book is the output of a three-year research project in which Wenger was the principal investigator. Our team conducted a series of interviews with people around the world who are using technology to facilitate learning. This case-based narrative methodology anchors the development of models and concepts in vignettes of cases used throughout the book. The goal was to develop an original framework for understanding the way in which technology affects, and can be used to support, social learning and the evolution of communities of practice.
