Double-weighted statement

In presenting this entirely fresh perspective on the 'theology of religion' Cheetham has sought to bring in a range of other disciplines, among them philosophy of mind, psychological theory, architecture, aesthetics and ethics, and this has meant becoming expert in a range of fields in order to interact with them and comment on their relevance and import. Such tasks have been laborious and extensive, and as a result the work has taken six years to complete. It has involved extensive consultation both within the UK and outside, including with colleagues in China.
