Additional information
This paper shows how AI can be applied in MPEG-4 video compression over Bluetooth in order to improve picture quality. A new buffer has been introduced at the input of the Bluetooth device which is controlled by a Rule-Based Fuzzy logic controller at the input and a neural-fuzzy controller at the output. The computer simulation results show that the proposed design improves the image quality, reduces data loss and reduces time delay, thus opening up the possibilities of transmitting moving pictures over Bluetooth.
