<26> This is the only vector field clustering technique in the visualization literature that targets and is demonstrated on real-world, computation fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation data provided by industry. It is the only algorithm that efficiently processes adaptive resolution meshes commonly associated with both commercial and research-oriented CFD simulation data. The work was developed using industry-grade CFD data in conjunction with CFD experts in engineering.
