<10> Stability theory is about the equivalence of representations upon which the invariance of computation - and the portability of software - depends. This paper uses realisability theory to give general stability results that apply to most known models of computation. The generalisation is based upon metric spaces. A broader generalisation for a particular class of models of computation (type 1 computability) appears in our REF output "Stability of representations of effective partial algebras".
