<03>Performance issues in general have been a long-standing failing of a number of essential visual signal processes and computer graphical operations, negatively impacting on their ability to function in tandem with real-time applications. The authors responded to this problem by devising novel implementation strategies to transform algorithm acceleration from the software arena to its hardware counterpart, leading to significant speed improvements in multi-level data decomposition and reconstruction. The outputs from this design have been verified by real-world engineering challenges and demonstrated its ground-breaking features and promising potentials. It has 8 Google Scholar citations to date.
