This work enabled SFX Technologies to be awarded patents in Europe, USA and Asia under the general description of “Improvements to loudspeaker driver assemblies”. A commercially available, portable, gel-audio speaker named the “Wowee”, was manufactured and sold globally in large numbers. The product incorporates technology discussed in this paper.
