Additional information

<02> CTP is the first system to collect information reliably and efficiently from a sensor network, a problem that has remained unsolved since the invention of sensor networks around 2000. It has become the de facto commercial and academic standard for data collection in sensor networks; it has informed routing protocol design at the IETF ROLL working group and is used as the benchmark by which researchers from USC, Microsoft Research Redmond, Stanford, and elsewhere evaluate and build their designs. CTP has been implemented and tested on 13 different testbeds and seven different hardware platforms.
