Additional information

<26> Presents a novel and rigourous mathematical framework for the sketch-based 3D modeling of facial expressions. Contributes various intuitive interfaces for 3D facial modeling, and better reconstruction accuracy compared to previous methods through the use of a non-linear probabilistic model of facial motion capture data. Accepted through the ACM Transactions on Graphics review process (world-leading journal in the area), and presented at the annual SIGGRAPH conference. This paper and an earlier conference version of the work both have high citation rates. Follow-up work by other researchers includes application of the same framework to the problem of interactively posing human character models.
