Additional information

This research proposed a simple, robust and practical numerical method for free surface flows. The proposed methodology can simulate complicated and tough interfacial flow problems efficiently and robustly. The proposed fluid framework can be used for a wide variety of Engineering and Scientific applications and became a basis of further research and the following papers by the author. The research was supported in part by ONR Grant #N00014-03-0071 (US grant) and received a visualisation award from Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers.
