Additional information

<22>This paper proposes a new, flexible graded BDI agent development framework that allows to build agents as a set of interconnect modules (called contexts), allows a clear separation in handling and reasoning about three fundamental mental attitudes as graded notions: beliefs, desires and intentions. We propose a sound and complete logical framework for them and some logical extensions to accommodate different views on desires. This approach has contributed to and is being used for developing the BDI agents within the framework of next generation of SCADA systems proposed in the project EPSRC project PACES (EP/J012149/1).
