<27>This paper is the culmination of many years of theoretical development, software implementation to exploit high performance architectures, and numerical and computational testing. The research was supported throughout by grants from EPSRC (EP/F010052/1, EP/C001753/1 and GR/R3118/01). The paper is accompanied by a large open source software system, 2DRMP, available at http://http://cpc.cs.qub.ac.uk/summaries/aeea. Further EPSRC support to use 2DRMP in production work on the UK national supercomputer , HECToR, was granted in July 2011 (1,449,600 AUs) - contact: Dr Emma Jones, EPSRC.
