Additional information

Fire resistance is very important for modern concrete structure design as fire presents extreme loadings. It can be treated by the newly developed performance-based design approach of which a thorough understanding of the constitutive relationship for high-strength concrete is not readily available. The research conducted has bridged this gap on the application of high strength concrete and fibrous concrete, which is supported by industry for new products through computational modelling on materials and structures. Verification: Mr Simon Evans, Technical Director of Propex Concrete System: Simon.Evans@propexinc.co.uk
